Implementation

Design & implementation

Content architecture

Homepage discovery (carousel, breaking, trending), four editorial categories, article reading chrome, publishing CMS, and engagement (newsletter, reactions, social). PWA install path and deep links to the native app.

Design approach

Soft white canvas, violet→pink brand gradient (#9e86ff → #ff6bcb), glass panels, Dancing Script wordmark. Dark mode with the same palette.

Implementation

Web: Next.js 15, React, Tailwind, Firebase, TipTap, Framer Motion. Native: Expo React Native. Live at miriscope.com — App Store live, Play Store coming soon.

Miriscope needed a differentiated reading experience — not a generic news template — with emphasis on a distinctive editorial perspective and a native presence.
